4 Summer Transfers That Should Happen

4. Ricky Van Wolfswinkel - Sporting CP

Possible Transfer - Liverpool, Manchester United, Norwich City, Swansea City

22 year old Netherlands international striker
Scoring 14 goals in 25 appearance last year for Sporting, Ricky has gained popularity which led to his first cap for the Netherlands.  The striker is extremely talented, with Liverpool and Tottenham both lacking a consistant #2 striker he could fill the void for both squad.  This transfer could help propel him into a regular spot for the Netherlands as well.

3. Tom Ince

Possible Transfer - Liverpool

Incing closer to an EPL move
A Liverpool academy player, Ince has made 41 appearances for Blackpool in the Championship.  He is a perfect fit for Liverpools 4-3-3 formation.  His father Paul Ince, was a ferious midfielder for Manchester United.  Though there styles and positions differ, Ince looks to be a name once again in the spot light.  This move should happen in January.  Details to follow as more is learned.

3.  Gary Hooper - Celtic FC

Possible Transfer - Everton FC, Sunderland

Hooper has been lighting up the SPL
Hooper has been on fire in the SPL.  He has scored 8 goals so far this season and a total of 52 in his 79 appearance for Celtic FC.  Although Sunderland already have a solid forward in Steven Fletcher, you can never have too many in form strikers.  Everton have had success in bring in forwards from Scotland such as Steven Naismith and Nikica Jelavic.  Both have played vital roles for the Toffees and with the ongoing injury problems of new boy Kevin Mirallas, they could use another scoring threat.

2. David Villa - Barcelona FC

Possible Transfer - Arsenal

Everyone could use a Villa
David Villa has been sidelined with multiple injuries since his move to Barca.  The proposed move to Arsenal could be vital for Gunners success.  Linking up with international teammate Santi Cazorla would be a match made in heaven.  Santi needs someone with the Spanish mindset to help guide them back to the Champions League and challenge the Manchester clubs.  This move, in my opinion, would shake up the EPL table and bring Arsenal back into the title race.

1. Jack Butland - Birmingham City

Possible Transfer - Everton FC, Liverpool, Southampton, West Ham

A regular England U21 and now the senior side
Englands new golden boy, Birmingham City maybe pressured into selling him this summer.  He is on the radar of all the big clubs and this move could bring about a challenger for Joe Hart's spot as the England keeper.  The youngster is looking very promising.  Liverpool lead the race but West Ham and Southampton could use a reliable keeper if they seek to avoid relegation this season.  With the rumors of Pepe Reina's possible departure from Liverpool, Butland would be a great replacement.  His solid performances in the Olympics for Great Britain validated the signs he is going to be good for a long time.
